This document outlines our privacy practices and data handling principles for the NOVELLA STAYS Android application.
This Privacy Policy explains how NOVELLA STAYS LTD ("NOVELLA STAYS", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in the NOVELLA STAYS Android application (the "App").
This policy applies only to the App. It does not govern independent hotel operators, email providers, device manufacturers, Google Play or other services that a user chooses to use separately.
NOVELLA STAYS is an offline residence-discovery and local trip-organisation app. It provides a bundled international hotel catalogue, search and filters, MoodRoute suggestions, StaySync arrival planning, saved stays, local trip records, trip changes, cancellation status, local reviews, preferences and help content.
The current App does not declare the Android Internet permission. It does not create a NOVELLA STAYS online account, connect to a NOVELLA STAYS server, provide live hotel availability or process online payments.
Users may voluntarily enter, select or create the following information in the App:
This information is used only to provide the relevant feature on the user's device. It is stored locally in the App's private Android storage and is not transmitted to NOVELLA STAYS LTD by the App.
In the current version, the App does not transmit user data off the device to NOVELLA STAYS LTD or a third party. We therefore do not collect or share user data through the App.

We do not sell, rent or share locally stored App information with advertisers, data brokers or other third parties.
The App uses Android application preferences to store onboarding status, profile fields, saved stays, trip records, trip changes, cancellation status, notification-read status, settings, support-form demonstrations and local reviews.
Local information is used for App functionality, including remembering preferences, displaying saved stays, organising trip records and restoring user-selected states after the App closes.
Local information generally remains on the device until the user edits it, removes the relevant record, clears the App's storage or uninstalls the App. Because the App has no cloud account, deleted local information cannot be restored by NOVELLA STAYS LTD.
The current App requests no dangerous or runtime Android permissions. It does not request permission to access location, camera, microphone, photos, files, contacts, phone, SMS, calendar, Bluetooth, nearby devices or device notifications.
The App's residence content, images, icons and graphic elements are bundled with the installation.
Hotel names, descriptions, images, reviews, guide prices and availability information in this version are bundled demonstration content. Guide prices use locally stored GBP reference values. Optional currency displays use fixed offline reference conversions and are not live exchange rates.
Creating a trip record in the App stores a planning record on the device. It does not transmit a booking, guarantee a reservation or confirm current price or availability with a property. Users should confirm final arrangements directly with the relevant property.
The App does not process online payments and does not request card, bank or wallet information. Any displayed total is described as payable in cash at the property.
The Contact screen contains an optional action that can open the user's chosen email application with the NOVELLA STAYS support address. The App does not silently send an email or automatically transfer the locally completed support form.
If the user chooses to compose and send an email, the email application and email provider process the email under their own terms and privacy policies. The user can review and edit the message before sending it.
The current App does not contain third-party advertising, analytics, social-login, mapping, cloud-database or payment SDKs. It uses Android platform components. Google Play and the user's device may independently process technical information under their own terms; that processing is not controlled by the App.
Local App information is protected by Android application sandboxing and the security controls of the user's device. We do not transmit this information to our servers. Users should protect their device with a screen lock, keep Android updated and avoid sharing an unlocked device with others.
No storage or security method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Clearing App data or uninstalling the App may permanently erase local information.
Users can edit profile information, remove saved stays, cancel local trip records, change preferences and replace local reviews through available App controls.
To delete all information stored by the App, users can clear NOVELLA STAYS storage in Android system settings or uninstall the App. This removes the App's local data from the device, subject to the Android operating system's behaviour and any device backups controlled by the user or device provider.
Because the App does not create an online account or transmit App data to NOVELLA STAYS LTD, there is no server-side App account or cloud App dataset for us to delete.
If a user separately sends an email, deletion of that email may be requested from the relevant email provider or by contacting us at admin@novellastays.site.
The App is intended for general travel planning and is not directed to children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect children's personal information online. A parent or guardian with a concern may contact us at the address below.
The App contains information for several international destinations but processes App-entered information locally on the user's device. The App does not transfer that information to NOVELLA STAYS LTD across national borders.
Depending on local law, users may have privacy rights concerning personal data held by an organisation. For information entered only into this offline App, users exercise control directly through the App or Android system settings as described above.
For information a user separately sends to us by email, the user may contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable law and any legal retention requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy if App features, data practices or legal requirements change. The revised policy will display a new "Last updated" date. Users should review the policy after installing a materially updated version of the App.
